Indorama Ventures – Indovinya is currently looking to hire a Sr. HR Business Partner to work in Port Neches, TX. In this role, you will lead HR Generalist functions at the site which consists of 255 non-union and 359 union represented associates. The incumbent also manages the Labor Relations activities for the sites four (4) Bargaining Units.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure activities comply with integrated management system requirements (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality).
- Work collaboratively with team members across backgrounds.
- Assist employees in achieving company goals, follow instructions, perform duties as assigned.
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives, complete company training programs.
- Recruitment, onboarding, induction of new and transferring associates.
- Administer Compensation and Benefits.
- Implement learning and development programs.
- Lead employee relations, engagement, and retention, partner with site leaders.
- Monitors attendance, leave, ADA requirements, payroll maintenance.
- Policy development, administration, corrective action, investigations.
- Manage staffing & recruiting programs, files, records.
- Precontract negotiations research, contract proposal development, business costing.
- Strike preparation, legal injunction, strike management.
- First chair negotiations, mediation exposure.
- Grievance & arbitration procedure administration.
- Master Agreement bargaining and contract language writing.
- Build positive labor relations model with Units, meet with union leaders, company reps, government agents.
- Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing:
Chemical manufacturing, refining, heavy industry. Multiple site unions preferred. First chair contract negotiation experience. - HR related certifications, change management training. Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Knowledge of Workday, SAP, Internet, email, Microsoft Office.
