Job Title:

Traffic Clerk

Duration: 6 Month Assignment with possibility of extension

Schedule:

Monday to Friday; 7am to 3:30pm

Role Overview :

This opportunity supports day-to-day logistics, shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination within a chemical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on SAP transaction processing, inbound and outbound shipment coordination, and accurate transportation documentation across truck and rail activity. This position offers the chance to contribute directly to logistics performance, reporting accuracy, and operational continuity in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Required

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

Experience in logistics, transportation coordination, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or supply chain support

Experience processing shipping documentation and transportation records

Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment

Required Skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to maintain accurate shipment, inventory, and transportation records
  • Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate inbound and outbound truck and rail shipments
  • Ability to generate shipping schedules, bills of lading, and related shipping paperwork
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, customer service, carriers, rail providers, warehouse personnel, and logistics teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using SAP for shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory transactions
  • Experience with MIGO, PGI, and transportation-related SAP processes
  • Experience with Bourque, Yardmaster, or similar yard management systems
  • Experience supporting chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or industrial operations
  • Experience coordinating truck and rail transportation activities
  • Familiarity with transportation documentation, bills of lading, demurrage tracking, and customer logistics requirements
