Job Description

Meta World Civil Consulting is currently seeking a qualified Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the Engineering Design/Submittal Process in the State of Florida and is fully capable of performing all tasks required in the execution of a project including engineering analysis/design, plans production and ancillary administrative duties. The ideal candidate has experience in public infrastructure and civil site design and is proficient in pavement design, stormwater design (hydrology and hydraulics), utility systems design, pump station design, etc.

Meta World Civil Consulting is currently seeking a qualified Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the Engineering Design/Submittal Process in the State of Florida and is fully capable of performing all tasks required in the execution of a project including engineering analysis/design, plans production and ancillary administrative duties. The ideal candidate has experience in public infrastructure and civil site design and is proficient in pavement design, stormwater design (hydrology and hydraulics), utility systems design, pump station design, etc.

The ideal candidate is proficient in the Civil 3D Design Suite and is capable of creating alignments and profiles, running cross-sections, performing earthwork calculations, etc., using the automated applications within the CAD software. All candidates must be capable of operating modeling and simulation software such as ICPR, Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, EPANet, etc., and other similar software.

The preferred candidate exhibits knowledge of the design and construction process as well as the ability to perform design tasks with minimal instruction. They should understand what details will be required with different types of projects and should be capable of plans production. The ideal candidate is very detailed and requires little supervision.
