Overview

Dawson Design Associates is looking for a talented and qualified mid-level interior designer/architect for our Kitsap County studio. If you are seeking a hands-on, holistic approach to designing creative, immersive, narrative-driven hotel experiences, DDA is the perfect fit. We value curiosity, a desire to learn, and a preference for working in a beautiful rural setting surrounded by nature.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years minimum experience in interior design or interior architecture and a strong desire to learn and grow within hospitality design. They should be bright, creative, enthusiastic, a good student, and able to work independently with an analytical approach. Artistic training and talent are highly desirable.

DDA is a demanding teaching and learning environment with prestigious projects and clients. We offer opportunities for career advancement and international travel for highly creative and dynamic performers. At DDA every player plays a critical role in a highly collaborative international office; you must be comfortable and skilled at working independently with limited supervision once trained. You must be willing to work in all aspects of design and do what it takes to keep the studio functioning daily, including sorting RFIs, samples management, and project organization.

This is your opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge of luxury hospitality design with a highly respected international team of award-winning designers.

  • Collaborate with a highly collaborative international team while also working independently when trained.
  • Participate in mentoring and training across hospitality, interior design, and architecture.
