Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Port Orchard, Washington. This opportunity is in a skilled nursing facility and inpatient/outpatient rehab setting, offering a collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery to restore independence in activities of daily living

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional mobility, self-care, strength, and safety

• Perform functional assessments and adaptive equipment training as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, PT, SLP, and case management

• Document patient progress, outcomes, and plan of care adjustments in accordance with facility policies and payer guidelines

Requirements

• Active Washington Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Minimum of one (1) year of OT experience; SNF or rehab setting preferred

• Current BLS Certification (AHA)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient engagement skills
