An established small animal care facility in Port Orchard, Washington is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian Urgent Care to join its expanding medical team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, same-day care for pets with non‑critical needs—bridging the gap between daytime general practice and overnight emergency services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and motivated to deliver timely, thoughtful medical care while maintaining a strong focus on client communication and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide efficient, high-quality care for pets presenting with urgent but non‑life‑threatening conditions
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of medical and minor surgical cases
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding and trust in care decisions
- Maintain detailed medical records and uphold best practices in all aspects of patient care

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of Washington
