Job Overview

Beaufort Construction of SC LLC is seeking a professional, organized, and tech-savvy Office Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite role that is central to the daily operations of our construction office. You’ll work closely with our project management and field teams to support administrative functions, manage office systems, and keep operations running efficiently. Ideal candidates will be personable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.

Answer phones, greet visitors, and maintain a professional front-office presence.

Handle office organization, filing, and document management.

Retrieve and distribute mail; run occasional local errands using personal vehicle.

Manage office supply inventory and coordinate with vendors.

Maintain clean and organized office spaces.

Coordinate with IT support to manage networks and systems.

Organize and manage digital files for easy access by staff and project teams.

Process material invoices with proper coding and vendor tracking.

Collect and verify weekly timesheets from field personnel, ensuring accuracy of job and cost codes.

Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Superintendents.

Maintain updated subcontractor contact lists and compliance documentation (W9s, insurance, licenses).

Assist in preparing bid documents, downloading plans/specs, and sending bid solicitations.

Support project startup: generate subcontractor contracts, Notice of Commencement forms, and job files.

Manage project closeouts and compile closeout documents for owners.

Track company vehicles: license renewals, insurance cards, and maintenance documentation.

Maintain office calendars and job lists; archive completed job files and plans.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of administrative or office management experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.

High school diploma or GED required; additional education or office-related training preferred.

Strong computer skills, including file management and basic software applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Professional, career-minded, and reliable.

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (some local errands required).
