We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional to teach and mentor students in a dynamic learning environment.

• Teach one or more HVAC or industrial apprenticeship training courses delivered in person, remote, hybrid, online, or blended formats.
• Provide academic support and encourage students to complete On‑The‑Job Training.
• Evaluate and maintain accurate records of student progress, including attendance and performance metrics.
• Cover course content according to approved syllabi, ensuring students are prepared for subsequent courses.
• Enforce safety practices and rules consistently in classroom and laboratory settings.
• Gather and provide feedback on student performance to promote learning.
• Attend each assigned class punctually and create an enthusiastic learning environment.
• Design and facilitate required laboratory exercises each semester.
• Submit required reports such as class rosters, grade books, and examination results.
• Stay current with advancements in HVAC trade operations and industry standards.
• Represent the college on school‑related functions in a professional manner.
• Prepare instructional materials aligned with the Apprenticeship curriculum.
• Motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.

• Working knowledge of industrial trade principles, methods, and techniques.
• Proficiency with industry hand and power tools.
• Computer/technical proficiency:
  Internet, Word, PowerPoint, Email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Excel.
• Self‑starter, creative problem‑solver with sound judgment and strong ethics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the HVAC trade.
• Preferred certifications:
  Backflow, EPA, OSHA 10‑Hour Construction.
• Prior teaching or training experience a plus.
• Preferred training in teaching techniques and adult learning styles.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and carry items occasionally in excess of 50 lb. Manual dexterity required for operating standard office equipment (copier, fax, calculator, telephone). Adherence to campus safety standards is mandatory.
