Job PurposeTo join a team dedicated to student greatness. As a Middle/HS Math Teacher, you will create a flexible program and classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Develop lesson plans consistent with established guidelines. Establish effective rapport with students, staff members, and parents.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement a program of instruction aligned with company philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Develop purposeful lesson plans that maximize learning time.
- Present subject matter with real-world, application-based examples.
- Maintain accurate student records and perform frequent diagnostic assessments.
- Provide differentiated instruction and skilled progress reporting.
- Coordinate field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
- Assist in curriculum revision and instructional material selection.
- Create a positive, safe classroom environment and enforce conduct policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and community stakeholders.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and staff meetings as required.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SIS, and email.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and quality education.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
- Valid teaching certification appropriate to the state.
- 1–3 years of successful teaching experience (including internship).
- Knowledge of grade‑level content and learning theory.
- Successful criminal and employment background check.
- Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.
- Ability to meet the described physical demands.
- Usual school working conditions.
- Potentially noisy during high student traffic.
- Light work; no physical exertion required.
- May be somewhat stressful due to frequent student activity.
- May lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Job is exempt from overtime provisions.
