As a School Psychologist, you will support Pre-K through 8th-grade learners, collaborating with educators and families to provide essential assessments, interventions, and counseling. This contract position spans the academic year, starting September 29, 2026, and ending June 1, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Your expertise will help foster a positive school climate, while your insights will be crucial in developing strategies to support both individual students and broader school initiatives. Qualifications:

  • Current FL Department of Health School Psychologist License is required
  • Experience working in schools with Pre-K through 8th-grade students preferred
  • Understanding of Florida state policies and educational standards
  • Skilled in psycho educational evaluations, IEP development, and data-driven interventions
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organization abilities
  • Capacity to manage time-sensitive credentialing and onboarding processes
  • Must be available for quick interview and able to meet in-person HR badging requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and student evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral plans
  • Support proactive strategies for student well-being and academic achievement
  • Ensure timely documentation and follow district procedures for credentialing
