• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage insurance renewals, claims, and workers' compensation processes.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filings.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Analyze settlement processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial goals with organizational strategy.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Experience as a VP of Finance, Controller, or CFO
• Transportation or trucking industry knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of insurance processes, including renewals, claims, and workers' compensation
• Strong leadership skills, as this role will manage a team of seven
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
