This is a full-time, on-site position for a Loan Officer Assistant based in Port St. Lucie, FL. The Loan Officer Assistant will support loan officers in managing and processing loan applications, coordinating with clients, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. Responsibilities include collecting and reviewing financial information, maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation for loan approvals, and communicating with borrowers to address any questions or concerns effectively.

• Knowledge of loan processes, familiarity with the mortgage industry, and experience working with loan officers
• Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively assist clients and collaborate with team members
• Experience or understanding in underwriting and analyzing financial documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and ability to learn new systems
• Previous experience in financial services or mortgage lending is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in finance or related fields is preferred
