Ophthalmic Technician

Overview

Retina Care Specialist of Florida offers state‑of‑the‑art vitreoretinal care. We are hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support a high‑volume ophthalmic practice that focuses on quality and compassionate eye care services.

• Obtain and document patient history
• Determine visual acuity
• Perform automated refraction
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by the physician
• Enter data into EMR and perform office duties
• Provide patient services and maintain confidentiality
• Maintain equipment and instruments
• Travel to other office locations as required

• High school graduation from an accredited school
• Customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and independent decision‑making
• Detail oriented and reliable transportation
