As the Occupational Therapist in Home Health, you will be responsible for assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, using evidence‑based techniques and in coordination with other members of the health care team
- Evaluate the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs; consult with the physician in developing the therapy plan of care
- Observe, record, and report to the nurse supervisor and physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition
- Conduct patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $34.23 to $61.15 per hour based on full‑time employment. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
