Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Job Description

The Regional Dietary Consultant is part of the management team for the district and provides overall planning, direction, evaluation, and control of food service units to achieve operational and financial goals. The Regional Director provides guidance and motivation to Culinary Services Managers and Associates. The role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining effective customer/client rapport. This position requires travel between Miami and Orlando to manage kitchens at both locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts within the assigned region to ensure compliance with government and agency standards.
  • Plan, budget, analyze, and report for the region.
  • Create efficiencies within facility kitchens.
  • Assist Food Service Directors with the ordering process and tray card program.
  • Assist with the hiring and interview process for facility DSMs as needed.
  • Ensure that OnTray policies are met in each facility.
  • Report equipment needs in facilities.
  • Maintain clean kitchen facilities, logs, and related records.
  • Assist with training and oversight of food quality and presentation programs.
  • Oversee inventory.
  • Assist with order guides and menu adjustments.
  • Assist with staffing hours for the kitchen.
  • Communicate the happenings in facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in long‑term care food service management.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Possess all required licenses to serve as a food service director (CDM or equivalent) and food manager license.
  • Serve Safe (or equivalent) proctor certification is a plus.
  • Chef experience (culinary training) is a plus.
