Job OverviewWe are seeking a Service Manager in our Stuart, FL office to oversee the commercial door service department. The manager will schedule, dispatch, manage projects, and control labor costs to meet customer commitments.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the commercial door service department
- Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure proper execution
- Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost‑effective manner
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer
- Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front‑line managers to develop action plans for improvement
- Improve individual performance of the field force through daily, monthly, and yearly performance reviews
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of two (2) years of experience managing personnel, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Communicate effectively with customers to consistently exceed satisfaction expectations
- Review customer survey data and respond to concerns
- Possess technical knowledge of applications and mechanical systems
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
