New Grad RN Resident - Emergency Department

The New Grad RN Resident in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital provides critical nursing care to patients in emergency situations. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

• Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients' medical records.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Experience: New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year
