RN Ambulatory - Wound Care

As an RN on the Wound Care team at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, you will deliver exceptional care to patients with chronic, non-healing wounds. This role is ideal for those looking to enhance their nursing skills and potentially advance into leadership positions.

• Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as needed.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Facilitate smooth operation of the ambulatory areas.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Two to three years of acute care hospital nursing experience preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
