Core Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Practice Manager to define clinical standards, shape training programs, and drive operational excellence across departments.
  • Empower, coach, and elevate a talented medical team by modeling Fear Free handling and patient-first care.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and continuous training of medical support staff.
  • Develop and oversee technician workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to protocols.
  • Partner with the Practice Manager and Medical Director to identify skill gaps, create growth opportunities, and foster a positive culture.
  • Lead daily huddles and coordinate interdepartmental communication to ensure smooth hospital flow.
Medical & Technical Excellence
  • Perform and oversee all advanced technical procedures, including anesthesia administration, intubation, induction/monitoring, dental radiography, and surgical preparation and assistance.
  • Perform and oversee laboratory diagnostics and analysis, including blood draws, urinalysis, x-rays, blood typing, blood smears, fecals, ear/skin cytology, Gram stains, fungal cultures and related laboratory analyses—to gather critical information aiding in patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain oversight of anesthetic safety standards, patient monitoring protocols, and pain management plans.
