As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry in Port Saint Lucie, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing excellent customer service, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to promote a secure environment.

• Conduct screening of individuals and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with site‑specific procedures and directions.
• Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security‑related incidents observed during assigned duties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify security‑related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

• Must have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
