As an Access Control Security Professional at a residential location, you will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, communicate with residents and guests, and help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and public-service personnel while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess a CPO certification.

+ Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
