• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct guests and service personnel in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and unusual observations accurately in required reports and logs.

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
