Commercial Refrigeration, Gasket Installer and fabricator

Gasket Doctor is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration, Gasket Fabricator and Installer to support the repair, fabrication, and installation of commercial refrigeration door and gasket systems. This role combines hands-on fabrication work with on-site installation and maintenance at customer locations.

Success in this position means delivering accurate gasket fabrication, dependable repairs, and professional installation of refrigeration components—while maintaining safe work practices and clear communication in both warehouse and field environments.

• Fabricate commercial refrigeration gaskets using appropriate materials and tools to meet required specifications.
• Install and replace refrigeration gaskets on doors and related components for commercial units.
• Repair commercial refrigeration doors, including alignment and sealing performance improvements.
• Replace and service door hinges, latches, and door hardware to restore proper operation.
• Work on glass door systems, ensuring secure fit, safe handling, and correct hardware installation..
• Install or repair walk-in coolers, including gasket and door hardware-related maintenance.
• Troubleshoot common gasket and door-related issues to determine effective repair solutions.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively in both warehouse settings and at customer locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow established safety procedures.
• Document work completed and ensure installed components are functioning as expected.

• Strong experience with commercial refrigeration gasket fabrication is strongly preferred.
• Previous hands-on experience fabricating and installing refrigeration gaskets, doors, and related hardware.
• Comfort working with hand tools and performing precise, detail-oriented work.
• Ability lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, bending, reaching and working with tools throughout the workday
• Ability to work both in the warehouse and in the field at customer locations.
• Experience repairing refrigeration systems such as coolers and walk-in coolers.
• Knowledge of refrigeration door hardware (e.g., hinges, latches) and gasket installation practices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to support scheduled work needs.
