Application Manager – Guidewire PolicyCenter

Location: Hybrid (Lake Mary, FL – Onsite Required)

Compensation: $170K – $180K + Bonus

This is a hybrid role – candidates must be local or willing to commute. No remote option available.

We’re partnering with a leading organization in the insurance space seeking an experienced Application Manager – Guidewire Policy Center to lead support, delivery, and optimization of core insurance platforms.

This role is a blend of technical leadership, application support, and hands‑on development
, with a strong focus on Guidewire Insurance Suite (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center).

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring system stability, driving improvements, and leading a team responsible for mission‑critical insurance applications.

• Lead support and maintenance of Guidewire Insurance Suite applications
• Oversee incident management, issue triage, and service request resolution
• Monitor application performance and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Ensure high system availability and operational stability

• Participate across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Gosu and Guidewire frameworks
• Configure Policy Center using PCFs, workflows, batch processes, and integrations
• Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices
• Build and maintain integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON
• Support integrations across Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center
  , and external systems
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams on production issues
• Partner with product owners, QA, and engineering teams to manage delivery and risks
• Participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, backlog grooming, design sessions)
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and delivery outcomes

• Lead and mentor a team of support analysts and engineers
• Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure delivery objectives are met while maintaining a strong team environment

• 10+ years of experience working with Guidewire Insurance Suite
  , with a focus on Policy Center
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
• PCF configuration
• SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON integrations
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise production systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with Guidewire upgrades and portal integrations
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing
• Background working in insurance or financial services environments
• Experience leading teams and managing vendor relationships
