Site Manager, Civil Engineering
Our client is a leading environmental consultancy and contractor delivering major infrastructure and environmental projects. Due to the award of a significant package of work on a major regional infrastructure scheme, they are seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee the safe and successful delivery of environmental and civil engineering projects.
Projects include habitat creation and restoration, habitat translocation, ecological mitigation and associated civil engineering works. The initial programme is expected to run for 16 months, with further secured work in the region offering excellent continuity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the safe delivery of environmental and civil engineering projects in accordance with CDM 2015.
- Manage site mobilisation, inductions, day-to-day operations and demobilisation.
- Ensure compliance with RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, ITPs and quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to achieve programme and budget targets.
- Complete daily and weekly site records, reports and resource planning.
- Manage site changes, identifying impacts on safety, quality, programme and cost.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
- CSCS Black Card (NVQ Level
6) - SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Proven experience managing civil engineering and/or environmental construction projects.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
