The Governors of St Joseph's Catholic Infant School, Port Talbot are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring teacher to join our warm and welcoming school community on a temporary maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced teacher looking to develop their skills within a supportive and nurturing environment. We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or is eligible to register.
• Is supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school, with practising Catholics particularly encouraged to apply.
• Has high expectations for all learners and is passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential.
• Is passionate about Early Years and the Foundation Phase, with a strong commitment to providing engaging, nurturing, and inclusive learning experiences that support every child to thrive and reach their full potential.
• Can create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Is enthusiastic, caring and dedicated to meeting the needs of young children.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
• Is eager to learn, develop and contribute to the wider life of the school.
