Are you an Electrical Design Engineer from a building services background looking to join a well-established company, working with some of the UK’s largest contractors, where you will become the go to technical expert overseeing the full life cycle of specialist electrical designs?

In this role you will be responsible for the electrical design for a range of high-profile commercial buildings, as well as schools, prisons and hospitals. You will oversee the projects from design to practical completion on lighting and critical power systems, fire and security, setting out drawings for the BIM team and providing complex calculations.

This company has been operating for over two decades and prides itself on high‑quality work in the building services industry. It oversees the entire project from design to implementation, assisting some of the largest UK contractors on mechanical, electrical and HVAC solutions.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services looking to join a thriving and rapidly growing company, with a fantastic succession plan, ensuring progression to senior design positions in under two years.

• Design lighting, power, fire and security systems for commercial buildings
• Set out drawings and designs for the BIM team
• Produce and understand complex calculations for electrical designs
• Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, 37.5 hours per week
