Senior Engineer

Volker Stevin is part of the Volker Wessels UK Group, an industry‑leading civil engineering business that delivers complex and innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our Volker Energy business and be based on the Margam Connection project. The project is underway and includes horizontal directional drilling and temporary works to facilitate an HV Cabling project.

As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for all engineering duties and ensuring the engineers under your control complete theirs. You will also produce RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITPs, weekly progress and planning updates, NCRs, TQs and Early Warnings. The role will be site based and will report to a Site Agent.

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience progressing through Site Engineer & Section Engineer roles or already working as a Senior Engineer
• Experience in Civil Engineering
• Experience on HV Cabling projects would be an advantage but not essential
• SMSTS, CSCS & TWS/TWC.
