Role Overview

As Papermill Production Manager
, you will be responsible for delivering production targets while ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and product quality standards
, in line with ISO 9001 requirements and Group policies. You will lead and develop production teams
, drive technical and operational improvements
, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality paper making operations
.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve production objectives while strictly complying with safety, environmental, and product safety standards
    , the ISO 9001 Quality System
    , and Group procedures.
  • Lead and supervise production teams
    , including shift planning and workforce organization
    .
  • Plan and coordinate technical training
    , regularly assessing progress and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
    .
  • Collaborate with the Product Office to keep technical documentation accurate and up to date, identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
  • Ensure product compliance with defined technical specifications and quality standards through routine audits and troubleshooting activities.
  • Partner with the Product Office to review and enhance technical specifications
    , identifying issues and recommending adjustments to support ongoing product improvement.
  • Support new product development
    , assessing technical feasibility and overseeing required testing and sample collection.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of alternative raw materials
    , coordinating and monitoring industrial testing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes and introducing innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance department to ensure optimal performance and reliability of production lines.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a paper making manufacturing environment
    , ideally within paper, cardboard, or paperboard production (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and people management
    .
  • Strong technical understanding of paper making processes
    , with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions to resolve production challenges and improve product quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    .
