BRC Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Support Officer to a well-established organisation, supporting young people who are experiencing homelessness
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support professional to make a genuine difference.

What you will do

As a Support Officer, you will provide housing-related support to young people, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently and successfully manage their accommodation.
Your responsibilities will include:
 
Managing a caseload of young people and providing person-centred support
Building positive, trusting relationships with service users
Supporting young people with independent living and tenancy-related skills
Helping individuals work towards agreed goals and positive outcomes
Supporting young people to maintain their accommodation
Liaising with partner agencies and other professionals involved in a young person's support
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and support plans
Identifying risks and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns  We are particularly interested in candidates who are compassionate, resilient, organised and genuinely committed to helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
 
Previous experience in a support, housing or similar role
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise your workload
Enhanced DBS
Driver with access to a vehicle  Interested?
