Medical Social Worker (LICSW)

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an on-call, per diem Medical Social Worker to join our Emergency Department Team.

In this role, you will deliver short-term services to support patients and families in managing personal, financial, psychosocial, and environmental challenges related to the patient's medical or psychiatric conditions by connecting them with valuable community resources.

Per Diem; 0-16 hours/week;
Variable Shift; 24/7 on call

• Washington State Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW)
• Two (2) years of recent LICSW experience in a health care setting
• Minimum two years of Social Worker experience in a health care setting, clinical social work in a similar setting
• Experience working with specific patient populations that may include but are not limited to children, frail elderly, vulnerable adults, and patients impacted by mental illness
• Previous experience in AIMS collaborative care primary care clinic is a plus
• May require valid Washington state driver's license

• The base salary range for this position reflects both market competitiveness and the full compensation potential for the role. Individual offers will be determined based on a candidate's qualifications and experience beyond the stated minimum requirements. In most cases, compensation will fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Placement above the midpoint will be reserved for candidates whose qualifications significantly exceed the minimum requirements.

Salary: $39.02 - $58.53 per hour
