Are you a dedicated and compassionate Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and young adults? Newport Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic RN to provide on-site nursing and care in our supportive and nurturing facilities.

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Evaluate medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
• Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators regarding medication management and refills.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree.
• Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ideally, previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents/practicing with young adults.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high‑pressure scenarios.
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team in emergent situations.
• Proactive mindset focused on quality, accuracy, and thoroughness in all tasks.
