Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin
Salary Range: $80,000 to $105,000

About the RoleThe Assistant Project Manager (APM) works closely with the field team, project team, and customers to coordinate project activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining productive relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Tracking and reviewing project activities, including change orders and submittals
- Directing the work of Project Engineers and Project Coordinators in partnership with the Project Manager and field team
- Facilitating team meetings and driving learning for the team
- Prior experience supervising or guiding others in a construction setting
- Technical knowledge in electrical or MEP construction and strong communication skills
- Experience coordinating, tracking, and managing project activities and documentation for Project Managers
- Willingness to learn and continuous improvement mindset
The APM role provides a path to develop the skills and competencies needed for a leadership career. You will earn hands‑on experience, build a professional network, and learn the critical thinking required for strategic project management within a supportive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred - Three (3) or more years of experience specifically as a Project Engineer in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting
- Minimum five (5)+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available
