Location:
Port Washington, Wisconsin at the Port Washington Health Center facility.
Job is on-site, full-time (FTE 0.6). Standard hours: 24.00. Shift 1st. Wednesday, Thursday & every other Friday 7:00am – 5:30pm. Weekends:
Saturday morning shift 7:45am – 1:00pm at West Bend Health Center (1700 W Paradise Drive) approximately 4-5 Saturdays a year. Holidays:
No holidays.
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions.
ExperienceCompletion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
LicensureASCP certification is preferred.
Special SkillsAbility to read and write to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, Integrated Full Use (IFUs), and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic to count instruments and complete count sheets is required. Basic computer, problem‑solving, and good communication skills are required.
