Human Resources Generalist

Extension is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Port Washington, WI. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys recruiting, building relationships, and making a direct impact on the employee experience.

• Established manufacturing organization with a strong focus on attracting and retaining top talent.
• Collaborative HR team with opportunities to work directly with supervisors and managers.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, with a strong focus on manufacturing and skilled trades.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, source candidates, and coordinate interviews through the offer process.
• Support employee relations, including attendance coaching, workplace investigations, documentation, and difficult conversations.
• Build relationships with technical schools, community organizations, and other talent pipelines.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, HR compliance, workplace safety, and workers' compensation claims.

• 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong recruiting experience, including sourcing through Indeed, Linked In, or similar platforms.
• Experience with HR documentation, employee relations, and handling sensitive conversations is preferred.
• ADP experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt.
• A coachable, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Consistent work history and a demonstrated commitment to previous employers.
• A bachelor's degree or master's degree is a plus and may qualify candidates for compensation above the standard range.

• $55k - $75k/hour
