Team Lead - Commercial Lines

Milwaukee, WI | $52,500.00-$70,900.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and support the Commercial Lines team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Oversee the day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to agency standards.
  • Act as a resource for complex coverage questions, client escalations, and policy-related issues.
  • Monitor workloads, prioritize assignments, and ensure efficient workflow distribution across the team.
  • Support training and development initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with producers, account managers, and leadership to ensure client retention and satisfaction goals are met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to support placement and renewal strategies.
  • Review and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity, quality, and client service.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new team members and implementation of new systems or processes.
  • Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including account management and/or leadership responsibilities.
  • Licensing:
    Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
  • Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS
      360, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
