Team Lead - Commercial Lines
Milwaukee, WI | $52,500.00-$70,900.00
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support the Commercial Lines team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to agency standards.
- Act as a resource for complex coverage questions, client escalations, and policy-related issues.
- Monitor workloads, prioritize assignments, and ensure efficient workflow distribution across the team.
- Support training and development initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with producers, account managers, and leadership to ensure client retention and satisfaction goals are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to support placement and renewal strategies.
- Review and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity, quality, and client service.
- Assist with the onboarding of new team members and implementation of new systems or processes.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience:
5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including account management and/or leadership responsibilities. - Licensing:
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and underwriting guidelines. - Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS
360, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering superior client service.
- Positive and proactive team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
