Responsibilities- Picking and receiving:
In-process materials/completed parts. - Replacement parts packing and processes and procedures.
- Operates all vehicles to schedule.
- Use of non‑precision tools; cutting, sawing, and hammering.
- Routine maintenance for handling equipment.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Receiving vendor material activities.
- Call for trucks.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed.
- Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.
- Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.
- Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 - 4 years Material Handling experience.
- Must be able to pass Forklift Certification Test.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes.
- Must be able to work individually and with others.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 100 feet.
- Normal shop working environment.
- Must be able and willing to work any shift and overtime.
