Registered Nurse - Short Term

Medcor is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to be an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Port Washington, WI. The hours for this position are either Monday‑Friday 3 pm‑11 pm or 11 pm‑7 am. This position has a 6‑month duration with a $1,500 completion bonus. Per diem is available to those who qualify. Saturday and Sunday shifts are also available. Applicants should feel comfortable working in a construction environment, climbing stairs, and working at heights as needed.

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
• Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Case Management.
• Medical charting.
• OSHA record‑keeping.

• Have valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
• Have current CPR/BLS certification.
• Be strong enough to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a construction environment.
• Good with computers and familiar with EMR software.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
