Job Title
Breakfast Attendant –
Hampton Inn Savannah - I-95 North
The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well‑organized, and safe hotels for our guests. As a Breakfast Attendant you will maintain spotless dining areas, greet guests, support the kitchen, and uphold the house’s cleanliness and operational standards.
Responsibilities- Greet guests happily, using their names whenever possible.
- Maintain cleanliness of breakfast tables and buffet stations: clear, sanitize, and refill as required.
- Support kitchen duties by ensuring the area is fully cleaned after each breakfast period and that all food safety measures are followed.
- Operate relevant hotel technology and answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment by organizing front‑ and back‑of‑house spaces, pitching in to clean as needed.
- Participate in shift handover reporting and keep all checklists accurate and on time.
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Work collaboratively with teammates, keeping communication clear, honest, and professional.
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
- Follow all safety and operational guidelines, including phone etiquette and technology usage.
- Guest satisfaction scores and intent to return.
- Management performance ratings and leadership walk‑throughs.
- Checklist tracking and compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Preferred experience in hospitality, service, or consumer‑facing franchise environment.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work well under stress and high pressure.
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Desire to serve guests with courtesy and hospitality.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adhere to clock‑in/out procedures and avoid working off the clock.
- Provide sufficient notice for scheduled shift changes or call‑outs.
- Stand or remain stationary for long periods (3–4 hours).
- Manipulate food and beverage boxes up to 25 pounds.
- Operate computers and handle telephone and other equipment.
- Inspect and observe details at close and long range.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
