Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping / Receiving Clerk to join our client's warehouse team. This associate will primarily work in the receiving department, supporting inventory management processes, inspecting and documenting incoming products, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Accurately update inventory records in the system.
• Take clear, detailed photos of products for documentation purposes.
• Organize and label received items in designated storage areas.
• Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate department.
• Assist with preparing outgoing shipments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.

• Previous warehouse or shipping / receiving experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).
• Comfortable using computers or handheld devices for inventory tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods.
