We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing part-time
Library assistantfor our Client based in Portadown Library . This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING ASAP, Working on a 2 week rota basis
Hours of work Week OneTuesday - 10:00 - 17:30
Thursday - 10:00 - 14:00
Friday - 13:30 - 17:30
Week TwoTuesday - 10:00 - 17:30
Friday - 10:00 - 17:30
Saturday - 10:00 - 16:00
- Standard hourly rate:
- Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations
- Provide all library services to meet the learning , information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.
- Must have 5 GCSE's including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent
- 1 years experience providing face to face service with the public.
- Experience working with young children and elderly people
- Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information
