PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications must be obtained at the date of taking up appointment
Hold a teaching qualification which meets the requirements for recognition to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland
Hold a degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification which has prepared the applicant to teach Business Studies and/or ICT as his/her main subject
Shortlisting by Application Form

Experience

Demonstrable experience of teaching BTEC/OCN Business Studies and/or ICT at Key Stage 4 to achieve positive learning outcomes
Have experience of delivering other level 2 qualifications such as Business Communication Systems and general subjects such as Learning for Life and Work, Careers or Religious Education

Be registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) before taking up post
