Salary: £85k - £95k + Package
We are partnering with a premier, large-scale food processing business in Northern Ireland. A main supplier to major UK high-street grocery retailers, they are renowned for innovation, and operational excellence. They are now seeking a high-calibre Head of Supply Chain to lead their end-to-end operations and support continued commercial growth.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this Executive Team role takes full accountability for all end-to-end supply chain functions across a high-volume manufacturing site. You will oversee demand and supply planning, strategic procurement, materials management, warehousing, and outbound logistics and ensure they meet rigorous retailer standards.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the site supply chain strategy, leading capacity planning and network optimisation alongside the Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP) process.
* Own short-, medium-, and long-term demand and supply planning, overseeing Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and MRP to optimise stock levels while minimising waste.
* Lead raw material, packaging, and indirect procurement, managing supplier performance, commercial negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Manage inbound/outbound logistics and 3PL partners to consistently deliver industry-leading On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) performance.
* Drive supply chain digitalisation (ERP, APS, WMS) while ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations, traceability, and retailer codes of practice.
Your Skills & Experience
* Extensive supply chain leadership experience within a large, complex, fast-paced food manufacturing business.
* A deep understanding of the rigorous supply chain requirements and service models mandated by major UK supermarkets.
* Proven track record of managing large-scale multi-functional teams across planning, logistics, purchasing, and stores.
* Highly proficient in advanced ERP/MRP systems and digital planning tools
