Role Overview
Gi Group are working in partnership with their client in Portadown to attract and recruit Food Production Operatives to join the team. The site is going through a programme of expansion and bringing new and diverse products, hence there is a requirement for an increase in staff on a temporary ongoing basis.
You will be required to work in a quick‑paced food manufacturing environment, working on a production line where you'll be expected to work as part of a team, have a keen eye for detail, maintain health and safety, food safety and internal standards, systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Follow standard work in terms of systems and processes
- Identify, rectify and report production issues
- Inspect materials for any quality issues
- Perform set‑up and changeovers within the production areas
- Record and collect data as per requirements of the product and management
- Perform quality checks of products and machinery, pre, during and post production
- The above list is not exhaustive but illustrates the requirements of the role.
Full training will be provided; however we are looking for individuals with an eagerness to learn and develop.
Hours of Work- 06:00 – 14:30 Monday to Friday – £12.21 ph for the first 6 months, increasing to £12.60 ph after 6 months (full service).
- Evening shift Monday to Thursday – 14:30 to 01:00 am, starting at £13.42 ph for the first 6 months, increasing to £14.02 ph after 6 months (full service).
