We are hiring for our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Carrickmacross, who are seeking to appoint a Waste Water Technician to join their operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Waste Water Technician to secure a permanent dayshift position with a highly successful business. The successful Waste Water Technician will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, monitoring and maintenance of the site's waste water treatment processes while supporting environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and operate the site's effluent water treatment plant
• Carry out routine testing, sampling and analysis of waste water systems
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and discharge requirements
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on treatment equipment
• Liaise with internal teams and external service providers where required
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the treatment process
• Assist with environmental audits and compliance activities

• Previous experience working within a waste water treatment environment is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes and environmental compliance
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage daily operational responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Salary of €48,500
• Permanent full-time position
