Fabricator​/Welder

An established and highly respected manufacturer in the Portadown area is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join its growing production team. Due to continued growth and increased demand, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join their modern manufacturing facility.

As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of a range of steel components and assemblies, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. Working from engineering drawings, you will play a key role in delivering products on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings
• Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication
• Use workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines

• Previous experience in a Fabricator / Welder role
• Strong MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
