Dispatch Operative

This permanent Dispatch Operative role in Portadown supports warehouse and logistics operations, covering receipt, storage, stock control and despatch of goods. Working for Manpower UK, the successful candidate will uphold safety, quality and GMP compliance standards throughout. Pay starts at £13.79 or £14.04 per hour respectively, rising to £14.59 after probation, plus shift premium. Salary equates to £27,000 to £30,300 annually.

• Evening Shift Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm £13.79 per hour, increasing to £14.59 per hour following successful probation and completion of required training/skill set, plus shift premium
• Night Shift Sunday to Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am £14.04 per hour, increasing to £14.59 per hour following successful probation, plus night shift premium

• Maintain warehouse operations in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) accurately.
• Receive, store and issue packaging materials in line with production requirements.
• Ensure the safe handling and movement of materials, preventing damage to personnel, products and equipment.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliations across warehouse and consumable inventories.
• Prepare and complete Bradley trailer documentation and associated paperwork.
• Load and unload lorries for both incoming and outgoing goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control activities.
• Adhere to all company health, safety and quality procedures.

• Essential Minimum 1 year''s experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or despatch environment.
• Experience with stock taking, inventory control and variance adjustments.
• Knowledge of handling packaging materials, ingredients and finished goods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administration and IT skills.
• Working knowledge of health and safety legislation within a warehouse environment.
• Desirable Minimum 1 year''s forklift truck experience.
• Valid Counterbalance, Reach Truck and/or Pallet Truck licence.
• Shunter licence.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment.
