Portage Christian School (PCS) is a fully accredited ACSI school serving over 250 students, PreK 3 – 12th grade, in NW Indiana. PCS is a Christ‑centered school focused on academic excellence and eternal impact in students’ lives.

Providing daily instruction in all subject areas to assigned students in a manner that is effective, appropriate, and aligned with the vision of PCS. Teachers deliver Indiana State Academic Standards and Bible instruction using a Christian biblical worldview, and they model important religious functions such as Bible instruction, prayer, and chapel services.

• Proficient, mature Christian faith with a publicly professed personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Bachelor’s degree in the content area; ACSI teaching certification preferred.
• Commitment to Christian education and a desire to nurture positive relationships with students, teachers, parents, staff, administrators, and community members.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, serve as a positive example, and handle sensitive/confidential matters tactfully and professionally.
• Respectful, inclusive, and faithful to school standards and expectations.
