Senior Technical Service Specialist - Close Molding Thermoset Resins
Bring your skills in thermoset composite development and molding to this global raw materials supplier and provide the highest level of customer technical support. The Technical Service Specialist is the key customer interface, coordinating and partaking in Technical Service Calls, Customer Trials, and Meetings, and supports company product leaders in developing products to meet customer needs. The role focuses on the proliferation and development of thermoset resins and additives for Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), Bulk Molding Compound (BMC), pultrusion, and other composite fabrication techniques.
JobActivities Tech and Process Support
- Coordinate and partake in Technical Service Calls at the customer as required.
- Coordinate and partake in Customer Trials, Meetings and Demonstrations as required.
- Coordinate and partake in the scale‑up process trials in SMC, BMC and pultrusion applications.
- Work with Product Leaders in formulation and development of new products, and modifying current products, to meet the Customer’s fitness for use.
- Communicate internally within the company (Sales, R&D, Management) and with customers to gather the information necessary to develop new and modify current products.
- Work with Product Leaders to prepare (SMC, BMC, and pultrusion) lab formulations and testing in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work with Product Leaders and Technologists to prepare, test and ship samples to customers.
- Coordinate and perform limited lab studies.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office.
- Document Technical Service Calls, Customer Trials, Meetings, etc., via written reports and e‑mails.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
