Occupational Therapist - PRN

Overview

Home Health Care opportunities within a dynamic therapy team. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, following physician orders, using therapeutic procedures and assistive devices to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient’s life. Therapy services may be provided in settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.

The Occupational Therapist will:

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders.
• Provide therapy services and information within the scope of Occupational Therapy.
• Collaborate as a member of a therapy team to support patient outcomes across care settings.

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation; new grads welcome to apply
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care
• Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
• Additional Information: PRN hours available
